Issue with ReaLearn on master track

In the screen capture I first use ‘learn target’ on a normal track (which works fine), then same on the master track (which doesn’t seem to work). I can assign master track volume as target manually (which ‘mostly’ works, I sometimes get jumpy behaviour when moving my controller, but not easily reproduceable) but I don’t get any feedback to my BCR at all when moving the master track fader in Reaper (again, for normal tracks it all works fine, so I’d assume there’s something a bit wonky going on with ReaLearn on master track).

Win 8.1 x64, Reaper 5.984 (clean portable install), ReaLearn 1.7.1 x64
