LiFePO4 Battery Pack

The LiFePO4 battery is made up of the following parts:

  • Four 280Ah LiFePO4 cells ordered from china on AliBaba
  • An 4S LiFePO4 1.2A active load balancer from AliExpress
  • A JBD Smart BMS 12V 4S 100A
  • Two 300A copper terminal posts
  • Some fat cabling
  • Lugs and stuff
  • A plywood box

I opted to purchase the cells on Alibaba because it provides better control over both the product and the supplier. This platform allows for direct communication, facilitating personalized prices, access to datasheets, and more. It offers a significantly enhanced shopping experience compared to AliExpress.

With numerous resources available on the web and YouTube, I won't delve into the process here. I can only express that it was a highly enjoyable experience, and I am exceptionally content with the results.

The only challenges I encountered revolved around determining the optimal positioning of the box and cells to ensure a proper fit within the battery compartment of my RV.
