Main menu button highlights persist too long

After touching main menu buttons they stay highlit for about a second, even when they shouldn't be.

To replicate: Method 1 - Hold a button (highlit), move finger away from button (still highlit). After a second it will stop being highlit. Method 2 - From the main menu, enter the about screen and leave within a second.
