Batch convert all sounds to one format, which format?

Non-lossy format sounds cool (no data loss), more [2]. OGG is lossy while FLAC [3] de-factor. Which one should we choose?

1. choose the FLAC

2. batch-convert later to lossy format if size is problem

3. investigate 1/2
