Detect libboost_python on Gentoo.

  1. jacobsenscott avatarjacobsenscott

Gentoo installs multiple versions of python side by side, so the boost libraries on my system are named /usr/lib/libboost_python-2.7.so and /usr/lib/libboost_python-3.2.so.

This patch tries to find the boost libraries by first looking for libraries named libboost_python-x.y where x is the major and y is the minor python version number.

I tested by calling

python setup.py build

on a Gentoo box and an Ubuntu 12.04 box and the build worked on both.
