Missing Pull Request issue links in JIRA

Hello!

Just installed the plugin, and we're having success with JIRA issue transitions on PR events.

Only trouble is, we don't see any pull requests show up as issue links on tickets. Opening a pull request will correctly transition the JIRA ticket in question to a new status, it just doesn't add the PR link to the ticket.

Any thoughts on what could be wrong?

Stash version: 2.3.1 JIRA version: 5.2.2

Do you see any messages like this "Could not work with remote JIRA issues" in your stash log?

We do see these below (with somewhat redacted usernames and IPs):

It looks like the user creating the pull request doesn't have permission to create issue links in JIRA. You might want to investigate the Permission Scheme within JIRA: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Linking+Issues
