All project groups shown in add user dropdown not only ones in browse project

Hi there

I was wondering why all groups are shown in the add user drop down as you say that only ones are shown which are configured in the browse project.

Is this intentional or a bug? As we are looking for a solution to have project roles by project and not by jira instance.

Hi Benjamin!

I guess you mean the add drop down in the project admin section? Sorry, that is beyond (current) scope of my plugin. It only help in showing what is configured to project members, but not improving the configuration itself.

But actually what you request is a good idea and I will think about, how to implement. I just have to say, that I have a few other things to do, so don't expect something soon.

Hello, for user with Administer Project permission provide a “Add user” dialog to choose role and then user, right? No “Add group”, you could still go to project configuration to add a group. Would that be okay?
