Restrict visibility to certain groups and project roles

I would like to be able to restrict the visibility of the Project Roles Tab. Therefore a new option on the admin panel should be enabled.

    To make it less complex for implementation, I would like to limit the configuration options to project roles, which are able to see the tab - not jira groups.

    Would this solve your problem?

    There is some restriction in visibility in place since v2.0. Only users with Browse Users permission from global permissions (see release notes) get access to the tab.

    This might be just part of the story, so I leave this issue open. Please comment here, if you need more than what is available in v2.0.
