Hello, We are looking to install your app Jira Project Role Tab to a datacenter hosted Jira with 27k (27 thousand) users but couldn't find a Datacenter variant to your help.

Requesting you to please let us know the below:

1. How the app will look in the datacenter?

Hi Upsana,

I am not afiliated with this plugin. I just wanted to let you know that we use it in a similar sized Data Center environment and it works just fine.

Please note that the “Data Center” label on Atlassian’s Marketplace is misleading. Many plugins that don’t have the label work well in DC environments.

Dear all,

Jira Project Role Tab works perfectly fine in Jira Data Center. As a small vendor I just skipped the official certification by Atlassian because it is quite some effort to go through different scaling tests.

The addon does not really have a business logic other than filtering out which project roles are relevant for the project by iterating over the project permissions. It just uses plain Jira Java API calls to retrieve the required information. It does not have a cache or a state.

It is fully compatible with Jira Data Center and also supported from my side. Quite a number of people like George is mentioning here are using the addon already in Jira Data Center.
