Clicking on Project Roles tab results in timeout / proxy error

This makes our instance unusable to the users who use this plugin that we have to disable/uninstall the plugin until the issue is fixed.

Steps to Recreate: From <JIRA-URL>/browse/<PROJECT-KEY>, click on Project Roles tab. Cursor turns into spinner and "Project Roles" title is displayed. If JIRA doesnt' time out or displays proxy error, 10 minutes later it's still spinning and no content is displayed.

Is this problem a result of a JIRA update? Have you used the Project Role Tab Plugin in earlier versions?

The plugin is expanding all groups and shows the members of the group instead of showing the group namens. Do you have a very large group associated to one of the project roles?

We have been using JIRA 5.0.7 since July 2012 so this issue doesn't seem to be a result of a JIRA Update.

In the project roles, the largest group we have has about 6,670 users. There is no recent drastic increase in the member count of this group, in case that matters.

Quick update: we restarted our JIRA instance. Now we don't get the time out / proxy error. So we can resolve this issue as non-repeatable.

Is it possible to the plugin faster? It takes about 32 seconds to load the project roles page. In contrast, loading the project roles page from "Administer Project" takes about 1 second.

Sorry, this page loading time belongs to total number of users in the group. Within "Administer Project" > "Roles" there are only the group shown, not the user of the group.
