Allow Sorting of Values

Currently, the values added via this field do not have a way to sort the order (whether based on alphanumeric or otherwise); values are ordered with newest additions to the bottom. It would be beneficial to add a method to sort the order.

The ordering of options should be maintained in a similar fashion to that of Jira custom fields. 'Order' buttons should be available beside the set of options as shown in the attachement.

Could you please tell me when you are planning to release 2.3.0. As i am really looking for this sorting option.

Is there any other possibilities to sort values ?

The JIRA admin can always do sorting of the options. But this is just a work around while waiting for this feature for project admins, sorry. This is next on my list, but I am currently bussy with other things. How about end of Feb, beginning of March?

This would be really valuable. It's my #1 feature request for this plugin. It makes the maintenance of values entirely self-service for the teams.

I started working on this feature, but I have to do major refactorings of the REST API to be able to deliver a similar user interface as for versions and components using AUI RESTful Table component. See #33 for a mockup.

Planned release date is end of March / beginning of April.

I was originally planning to release this feature as part of 2.3, but need to reschedule this to 2.4. This is needed, because I want to release support for JIRA 6.4, implementation of #30 and bugfix for #31 as an intermediate release and then start working on this feature of reordering of option values.

I am in final steps of releasing version 2.4.0 incl. this feature. I want make you aware of a fix you might have to do via SQL because of a bug in an old version of the plugin to get this feature correctly working. See "Problems with ordering of option value" in the Wiki for more details.
