License Incompatible Warning

We are upgrading our Jira Data version from 8.x version to 9.x version. Hence needed to upgrade our Project specific plugin to latest data center version 3.2.0. But after the plugin upgrade we are getting a “License Incompatible“ Warning: This app license isn't compatible with JIRA Data Center, which means app functionality has been restricted or stopped working. We are up for renewall of license early next year…untill then we won’t be able to purchase a data center license for this plugin.

My question is if it is ok for us to keep ignoring this warning? Meaning is there anyu functional issue or other issue we may encounter if we keep using server license for this pluigin with version 3.2.0 of datacenter version of this plugin.

Please install version 3.1.0 of Project Specific Select Field, which is the last version before DC version was released. This will work with your Server version.

In parallel please purchase a Data Center license for Project Specific Select Field. If you have Server maintenance valid for a longer period I can provide a discount for the time of overlapping licenses.

We have already updated to 3.2 because we were having issue with our older version. So was hoping to get a license fix for this version versus downgrading.

BTW: We have already paid more than what data center license will cost us. We have been paying 1900 for the server version per year, and it has been paid thru February 2024. And datacenter for our 15K user tier will only cost us $1000. So i think we should be issued a data center license key in lieu of our current server license till the next renewal…Thoughts?

Regarding the DC license, I cannot issue a license, because there is no possibility to do so via Marketplace for me as a vendor. You have to go through a purchase process. Thanks for the offer; I went ahead and downgraded the plugin to v3.1.0, all seem to be good now. We will purchase the data center license during our next renewal cycle. Thanks
