Allow add / disable option values without need for project admin permission
Hello @hski,
Understanding that only project roles with administer project permission is able to add and delete the selection list on project-specific select field.
I would like to explain you our usecase. We have a field called 'Workspace' which is project specific select field. We want the project role Team Leads, should be able to manage this field but do not want this project role (Team leads) to administer (modify components, fixversions etc) the project. Let me know how if you can help me with this. Thanks in advance

If that is done is should be configurable, as in a lot of use-cases it should be the project admin only for good reasons. Best regards.

repo owner Yes, by introducing a new project permission for which jira admin can configure project role or group via permission scheme and the project admin then assigning user to the project role.

Account Deactivated reporter Hello @hski , Any update on the issue. This is a road blocker for us. Is their any timeframe for this enhancement.

repo owner Sorry, not really. Maybe I find some time in August. But also maybe not. May I ask how many projects and users you have in Jira?

Account Deactivated reporter Hello @hski ,
We have 10k licenses and around 3000 Active jira users. We are having 253 jira projects and the count continues to grow. Thanks for expediting the request.

Interesting idea! Similar concept like I implemented for Version Manager for Jira, where I introduced a new permission role to add / edit versions.
Will think about to put it on the roadmap of the plugin, but I cannot say anything about timelimes. I have some other features, which I want to implement before. Let's see how other users vote or comment on this issue.
