Data Center Compatibility

Hi,

We are just about to upgrade our JIRA instance version 7.8.0 to JIRA Data Center.

The Atlassian Marketplace is not reporting your add-on as Data Center compatible. Could you provide information on Data Center compatibility?

The plugin is fully compatible with Jira Data Center.

The plugin does not have a state or a cache. It just offers a second user interface to existing features from Jira API.

I am currently in the process of getting officially approved by Atlassian.

Official certification by Atlassian following this process for vendors resp. plugins for Data Center compatibility.

I am planning to have the plugin certified by Atlassian for Data Center available by end of the year.

From support perspective it is already supported and works perfectly fine. Quite a number of customers are already using it in Data Center environment successfully.

Please notice that for Project Specific Select Field add-on a Data Center approved version is planned to be released in April 2023. This is a pre-announcement as required prior to introduction of Data Center version of Project Specific Select Field add-on.

In the initial Data Center release same functionality will be provided as for the Server version. Further enhancements planned for future releases.

You will need to update your license to Data Center version of Project Specific Select Field in order to use it in future. Once Data Center version of Project Specific Select Field is available on the Atlassian Marketplace, you will be required to move to Data Center license with your next renewal.
