Search field on Project Specific Custom Field configuration screen

We have a project specific custom field, that has in one project more than 500 options. If our project admins of that project want to change a detail in one option they have to sort the options alphabetically and scroll down the list until they find the right option.

Is it possible to add a search field for the options to speed this up?

How about using the search functionality of the web browser with Ctrl-F to find the option value you are looking for?
