Jira Data Center - Utilizing the Project Specific Select Field Plugin

We are utilizing the Project Specific Select Field plugin ( Server Version 3.0.1) in our Jira Data Center (8.20.15) but we observed in market place the below comments. As, we are planning to upgrade our Jira Data Center to 9.4.2 (LTS Version) and upgrade the plugin also, But we are worried that the support will be end project Specific Select Field plugin (Server Version 3.0.1) in our Jira Data Center? As we are having 200 clients with 8000 licenses.

As we continue to move towards a cloud future together, new server app sales and installs are no longer available for customers. You can update app version via Atlassian Marketplace until the end of support for server on Feb 15, 2024.

Can you please let us know is there any impact? as we will be continuing to utilize our Jira Data Center with all plugins till 2027.

Data Center certification is in the works and a Data Center certified version of Project Specific Select Field will be released in Q2 2023.

In the meantime you can safely continue to use the Server version of Project Specific Select Field with you existing license and maintenance. It is fully supported from Project Specific Select Field side.

Please notice that for Project Specific Select Field add-on a Data Center approved version is planned to be released in April 2023. This is a pre-announcement as required prior to introduction of Data Center version of Project Specific Select Field add-on.

In the initial Data Center release same functionality will be provided as for the Server version. Further enhancements planned for future releases.

You will need to update your license to Data Center version of Project Specific Select Field in order to use it in future. Once Data Center version of Project Specific Select Field is available on the Atlassian Marketplace, you will be required to move to Data Center license with your next renewal.
