support for {code:diff}
Issue #20
resolved
JIRA integrates with several version control systems and sometimes adding a patch to a comment is useful. Syntax highlighting for patches would be a fantastic addition. I requested this as well in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-21067

I'm afraid I don't have a specification but there are many examples about diff highlighting:
https://github.com/danielribeiro/github-diff-highlight http://sourceforge.net/projects/colordiff/
But mainly the key point is to paint RED lines that are removed (those whose first character is a minus sign) and paint GREEN lines that are added (those whose first character is a plus sign). Simply that would be a good start.

Can you give any information about the syntax and what you expect from highlighting? An screeshot is not a full spec. :-)
