The syntax highlighter loops infinitely on some malformed/incomplete xml code

If the attached file (CommentWithBadXml.txt) is added as a comment to a JIRA-ticket, JIRA will hang when attempting to view this ticket, i.e.a browser will not render anything and just indicating it is waiting on the JIRA-server.

Disabling the JIRA Syntax highlighter plug-in allows to view (and edit) such ticket again. Changing the {code:xml} tag into {code} is an effective workaround for this problem.
