Migrating Jira Server to Cloud: we need support for Jira Syntax Highlighter Plugin
Hi Team,
We’re planning to migrate the Jira Server to the Cloud environment, and we need support for the Jira Syntax Highlighter Plugin.
What are the steps and what needs to be taken care of before migration to the Cloud?

reporter Hi Holger,
So, it means using JCMA migration will work, do we need to take any precautions before migration or during the migration?

reporter Hi Holger,
Jira Software v8.5.0

repo owner Since Jira 7.5 the {code} macro has been updated. See here https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiracore/jira-core-7-5-x-release-notes-935578211.html
I guess you can already now in Jira Server just deactivate the addon. Jira standard {code} should cover your needs. And no migration activity required.
Only line numbers and highlighting of line numbers is not supported by Jira. But I guess most user can accept this. Also there is no option to bring this feature back,

There is no need for Syntax Highlighter anymore since Jira 8 or so, because there improved support for additional languages since then. Jira Syntax Highlighter is therefor no longer maintained
