Standard Jira does not have a concept of versions with sub versions as far as I know. You can have version like 1.0 and 1.0.1 and 1.1, but this is just a label with no special meaning. Can you explain, what you mean with support for sub versions?

Sorry, I meant for Jira installations that have plugins extending out the concept of subversions (version hierarchy)
