Oh yes, that is really hard to read.
As far as I’m aware, I do not use any special widget styling functionality.
So I would guess, that this is a general QGIS problem with the Night Mapping mode. Can you find any QGIS dialogs, that are hard to read, too?
@Benjamin Jakimow , @Fabian Thiel have you any experience with the Night Mapping mode in QGIS?
-
Yes, one was already reported in #866

Yes, but is that something we can/should fix? Or is that something for the QGIS or even Qt issue tracker?
-
As it occurs in the EnMAP-box but not QGIS it is something we need to fix.
-
Hmm, I can’t really imagine how this is possible. I use regular Qt widgets without any modifications to the style. I would have guessed, that QGIS dialogs would have similar problems.
Alright, I will check it out.

@Benjamin Jakimow I switched to Night Mapping mode and checked out QGIS GUI.
At least on my Windows 10 system, the QGIS GUI is also affected by this. You can't barely see some of the GUI elements, e.g.
I have the feeling, that dark mode is a challenge

@Benjamin Jakimow I would like to close this issue here.
Making the EnMAP-Box dark-mode-ready is a bigger topic.

Not really a bug. It’s more that default widget styles aren’t always suitable for dark modes. We need a general decision on how to deal with that.

reporter If EnMapBox were independent of QGIS, I would agree that this would not be a bug but an enhancement. But being a QGIS plugin, it must conform to any global QGIS option, so this should be considered a bug. Certainly with low priority.
I’ve have not found any other QGIS panel with this problem and I most often use the UI theme, but I am not a heavy QGIS user.

Hi Agus,
is that a new thing only related to the v3.10 version, or also for v3.9?
