reporter Our logic for Classification Schemes has changed.
The scheme is defined by the QGIS Symbology.
The Metadata Viewer is not correctly using the information from the Layer Symbology. E.g. the roof is BLUE, not RED anymore:
-
reporter I would just remove this widget, because the user can define the scheme by using the Layer Properties > Symbology.
The old widget is just obsolete.

- changed milestone to Future Release - Nice to have
- marked as enhancement
- marked as minor
Metadaa viewer shown internal GDAL-specific data source classes, which might not be in the applied layer style

reporter Sorry, for switching the status of the issue back and forth, but this widget is problematic/dangerous:
It is inside a “viewer”, but it has editing functionality:
I guess it will try to save the edits to the raster source, while the raster is still opened in QGIS as a layer. So QGIS will overwrite potential changes later or other “bad things will happen”.
