Same is true for “Create in memory mosaic”. Results in a single-band output, which doesn’t make a lot of sense.

    what is the bug here?

“Stacking” commonly means to put band of different images together. Select multiple raster sources to do so.

    what is the bug here?

    • I right-click on enmap_berlin.bsq (a layer with 177 bands) and select “Create in memory stack”
    • the result raster has 6 bands

Why 6 bands? Which 6 bands?

Wasn’t there a request in the past to stack the visualized bands only? Seems this is was is exactly done.

    I don’t know. I don’t need this feature.

If still relevant, it should be named accordingly, e.g. “Stack all renderer bands of all displayed raster layer.”

If you just ask me: just delete this option.
