The map layer selection widget named "Source" is a standard QComboBox, which is not updating it's entries when a new raster is opened in the Box.

Use a QgsMapLayerComboBox which will do the trick out of the box!

Remove the "..." button. New data sources are opened via the box and not inside individual apps/tools.
