Random Points From Classification: Fails when saving Output Vector to temporary file

Creating a vector with the Random Points From Classification tool fails if the Output Vector is set to ‘[Save to temporary file]’

Error msg: “.” files are not supported as outputs for this algorithm
Python error: TypeError: defaultVectorFileExtension() takes 1 positional argument but 2 were given
