@Benjamin Jakimow , I’m 95% sure, that we decided two weeks ago in the team meeting, that this feature is important, and we want to have it implemented for v3.10, so I will re-assign responsibility and adjust priority for the release plan.
In case we need extra discussion, please place a trello card for the next team meeting.

The QGIS API does not allow to inspect its clipboard.

This would be required to inspect which fields need to be added.
