crosshair distance marker not working correctly

When measuring a pixel of enmap_berlin.bsq raster in QGIS map canvas with EPSG: 3857 gives the correct pixel size of 30m:

@Benjamin Jakimow maybe you can also correctly measure the crosshair distance like QGIS does it with the measurement tool?

The current crosshair distance is only valid at the equator:

The closer we are to the poles, the more incorrect the reported distance is.

I’m not really sure how we would call the value that is currently reported. But it is really confusing to know that your EnMAP pixel is 30m, but the reported distance says 50m .
