QGIS crash during installation of Enmap-Box
QGIS crashes all the time when installing the latest EnMap-Box. It crashes without any Crash Report, it just closes. I also tried to install it from zip file with the same outcome. Furthermore I purged and reinstalled QGIS without any success.

Please try on a fresh QGIS user profile:

reporter No change in outcome.

Can you install other plugins without problems?
-
reporter the last thing i did was adding a script to the toolbox, then a python error message occured, I restartet QGIS and it said, that EnMap-Box plugin had been disabled. clicking “enable” resulted in crash so I uninstalled it.

reporter yes, i can..

Hmm, a bad script can cause problems, but a new User Profile should ignore the old script.
You shouldn’t see any scripts here, right?
-
reporter no, no scripts..
I tried to add the classification performance script from an older version, because it vanished from the toolbox.

Adding scripts with algorithms from older EnMAP-Box versions may/will cause problems
Use the new algorithms here:

reporter Well…
…and how to recover the smashed EnMap-Box now?
-
reporter Now I don’t think it is the assumed ‘old’ script that causes the problem. Because when I wanted to add the script that I copied from another PC with older version it already exited in the latest Version…so I did not paste it to file…
By the way, the first odd python error message occurred, when I changed the “Random points from categorized raster” script. After this it always showed up after opening QGIS. But no clue if it is related at all..

Sorry Eike, I’m not sure what to try next to approach your problem.
If you like, we can have a shared screen session next week. Just write me an email: andreas.janz@geo.hu-berlin.de

- changed status to resolved
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think we solved your problem.
If not just re-open the issue.
