Issue #1106 resolved
ats1995 created an issue

18th february build:

  1. I switch the camera on in A-dep with movie mode remap-> goes to video mode.

  2. I halv-press shutter.

  3. I press review/menu button, and it goes back to liveview after a short black out. At this time there are no graphical elements. No buttons are working, exept for the shutter.

  4. When halv-pressing shutter, the camera starts to record. Movie Rec key is Default.

Here is a video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ycgYqAgyK8&feature=youtu.be

Movie mode remap doesn't affect it. Even when disabling it, I get the same problem.

Edit: When recording, halv-pressing shutter stops the record.

If you can reproduce it quickly, contact me when you have a few hours of spare time. I'll do some binary search through the code to isolate the problem.

With Canon firmware I guess it works fine, no?

With the Canon FW it is all good. I do have time now, unless it's lots of hours.

Edit: After step 2, the same thing happens when trying to bring up Canons menu, the screen blacks out, and etc. (Step 3 and 4)

How do you reproduce the bug without mode remap? You simply go to A-DEP and then to MOVIE?

Here's a version which does not create any ML tasks. It will register property and event handlers.

It doesn't matter, I think. I can start in any mode and then move to movie mode (or start in movie mode for that matter), and repeat the process for as long as I want.

With that autoexec.bin everything is like Canons FW. Am I supposed to get a new file with those property and event handlers? What should the name be?

So, we know the task that is causing problems (shoot_task in shoot.c). Do you have anything enabled in Shoot menu?

Of some reson I have enabled 3rd party flash LV. Others are Mirror lockup: Timer+LCDremote, which is standard. Other than those, none.

UPDATE!: when disabling 3rd party flash LV, the problem disappears!!!!
