UniWB

Issue #1154 resolved
Former user created an issue

Sorry if this request pops up twice: I had issues filing.

I use UniWB, see: http://www.guillermoluijk.com/tutorial/uniwb/index_en.htm

This allows me to get a better representation of a RAW histogram in the camera.

The trouble is the custom file gets erased when I erase the images on the card.

I wonder if ML could be made to read a custom WB file and keep this file on the ML side; that is it doesn't get erased.

Cheers

Garry

    Sorry, please ignore this request!

I had forgotten you can protect an image from being erased!!!

    Thanks for the tip Alex.

I hope you don't mind me piggybacking on this 'issue', however, I just can not get the histogram to show in LV on my 50D.

I have Global Draw on and have tried all combinations in the histogram section.

Are you aware of a problem with the 50D?

    Cheers

I worked it out: the issue was to enable Exposure Sim in the 50D. I think at one time this was an ML menu option.

    Anyway all working fine now.

BTW in the there a way in ML of moving the location of the histogram or waveform? CHDK has an inbuilt editor to allow you to do this.

If not through an editor, can simple folk like me edit the source easily to move such things.

Also, how about a scaling option for the histogram, eg making it twice or three times the size.

For many of us the histogram is one of our key tools, but is is small.

You can only select the 4:3 screen layout (use a recent autoexec.bin for this).

    Canon has a larger histogram.

Alex this is not your problem but I can't bring up the canon histogram in LV mode.

As I said earlier is there anyway to move the location of the ml histogram on the LV screen.

On 50D, to show Canon graphics, you need to disable all ML graphics (globaldraw off).

The only way to move the histogram in ML is by changing the screen layout (the 4:3 one moves the histogram at the bottom).
