5D2 ML unified 2.1.1 Dec 22- No ML Menu access, yet display is there in LiveView

Issue #1350 duplicate
Former user created an issue

Folowed all the steps multiple times, cleared the settings, low leverl formats, tried different card sizes (16GB and 512MB).

ML is the firmware the camera is using, as reported by the menu, but when I ht the Picture style button, all I get is canons picture style menu.

Strange thing is when in Live View, I can see the heads up display in the bottom, and even engage zebras by pushing the zoom button.

I cleared camera settings on install, formatted the card in the camera, and ran the installer over the 2.1.1 firmware.

Now I'm stuck.

Sorry but I can not understand in more detail? ==== For cameras without Q: 5D Mark II: press the Picture Style button… Don't work! if you want to replace AUTOEXEC file, then where can I get it?

    Thank you Alex!

I've found this issue's dialog to be a bit cryptic, but I think I can clear it up. I hit this "issue" with the v2.3 RC1 on my 5D2. But when I actually read the INSTALL.pdf, I realized I needed to press my TRASH button, and not my picture style button. That brought up the menu. The wiki, and even Arsen's post 24 days ago, seem to indicate the latter is the proper approach, with no mention of the former.

@Dawson Toth It's a true! In the instructions I also read the original use of the «Picture style» button until I found a menu call button ML by Delete(trash) Ars
