RAW recording won't turn off when using Canon remote RC-6

Issue #1872 new

If you use the RC-6 Canon remote to start recording RAW video, you cannot use it to stop the recording. The camera locks up and must be shut down by turning it off.

How do you even trigger the recording in the first place? The RC-6 does not have an autofocus only button.

There is a canon setting that allows you to enable the shutter button to start recording as well. That allows remotes to trigger recording.

Got a RC-6 to try. It's H.264 (with plain Canon firmware) that doesn't turn off with the IR remote. RAW recording starts and stops just fine...
