Corrupt Frames recording h.264

Issue #2263 new
Former user created an issue

I was shooting H.264 and on some of my files, certain frames were corrupted (screenshots attached) and sound started hissing, but after 10 seconds the video went back to normal.

I'm on the 5D3123 build from 08-06-2014.

When I switched back to h.264, I turned off:

MLV_rec MLV_play MLV_snd

All other modules had been turned off before hand.

I'm using a Lexar 1066x 128GB card.

I was using an atomos ninja 2 as well and those files did not have corrupt frames.

Let me know if there is any other info I can provide.

I have not tried yet. Will update posts with results. This was the first time I shot with my camera after doing the Magic Lantern upgrade. With those takes I wasn't doing anything different than any of the other ones.

I finally ran tests again to see if I could consistently reproduce, but the artifacting seems to be inconsistent. I shot 10 clips from various lengths from 2 mins to 30 mins (clips were broken into 10 mins because of 4gb limit) and artifacting would cut in and out at various lengths. Only 2 of the 10 clips had artifacting, so its not always happening.

Has anyone else had this issue or have an idea what could be causing this?
