Temp goes from 41°C to -60°C

Issue #2596 resolved

Leaving the camera on results in the internal temperature to rise. The temperature indicator jumps from around 41°C to 45°C straight to -60°C and stays at that temp reading.

    I´m interested at the raw (efic)-temperature for this temp-jump to happen.

    According to the measured temp-data, you provided, I could imagine the following behavior:

    efic-temp: 255 --> 42,5°C efic-temp: 256 --> 43°C (should be) efic-temp: 0 --> -62°C (how it is?)

    So I would like to have some measurements for the EOS-M from you. See here, how to do: http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=9673.0

    What does the efic-temp do, if it grows higher than 255?. Does it jump to 256, 257 and so on or does it jump back to 0, 1, 2 ... ?

    Looks like the EOS-M is the only cam at the moment, which can reach that high raw-temperatures. See the diagrams here: https://seescho.wordpress.com/2016/04/24/temperaturanzeige-mit-magiclantern/
