Err 70 with 5D mkIII when shouting in live view with magiclantern-Nightly.2014Jul16.5D3123

Issue #2756 new

I've used ML for years and updated to the latest night build. I'm now getting an error when I take a shot in live view. Err 70. I went to the magiclantern-Nightly.2017Jul03.5D3123 to see whether that would fix it, but no, so then went back to the version I was using previously and I still have the error.

As a landscape photographer live view is critical and I need to be able to shoot with it. Should I uninstall ML and retry with magiclantern-Nightly.2017Mar30.5D3123?

Thanks

Darren

I just uninstalled ML completely. Reformatted the card (having saved my settings on my PC) and reinstalled the March 30 build and it worked fine. I then copied in my old settings to the new settings folder overwriting any files in there. Live view shots worked 4 or 5 times then the Err 70 error came back. Switched of the camera and the red light was still on and had to take the battery out to switch it off.

I've since deleted the settings on the SD card and restarted the camera and it works fine now.

There were some recent fixes for the silent picture module, but they are not yet in nightly since nobody else reviewed them. They are present in the crop_rec_4k branch - does that one work better?
