The current minimum shutter speed for video is 1/30, and for photo is 30sec. Is there any chance of lowering these? I'm after two separate effects:
1) The trailer for Chungking Express (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6pBeOHC2BWo) has undercranking and step-printing, resulting in what looks like a rapid sequence of blurred still shots - would a lower shutter speed allow this to happen in-camera?
2) I want to create some Star Trail images like this one (http://abcnews.go.com/widgets/mediaViewer/image?id=5185614) but I need to use "bulb" at the moment, which causes all kinds of problems. Is it possible to have a shutter speed of 3 hours (best case scenario)?
