This is just a little pet peeve of mine but running "make clean" will not remove the localsyms file in the modules/lua directory. This appears as an uncommitted change in SourceTree and can possibly show up on pull requests. This pull request removes localsyms immediately after the make script is finished with it.
why not just remove it immediately after we are finished with it in the build rule?

Ok--took your suggestion to make it a separate action. I didn't know about that "call rm_files" trick. Tested it and everything looks good.
Perhaps this just needs a little clean up?

Clean the commit log > a new pull request. But I think a1ex is happy with it based on comments in my issue.
edit: perhaps you could push a new fix to lua_fix branch? I don't know, just rambling.
