Pull request #792 for updating the EOSM to firmware revision 2.0.3 has been working fine since it was first published in January 2017. Seems like the author is missing in action but I've been using and updating it on my fork. How about re-introducing it in the bleeding edge experimental branch?
Note that I have hosted an EOSM.203 build since the original pull request was first published. It has had about 900 downloads with no reported issues. At least, no new issues that could be blamed on the firmware update.
Ran the Stubs API test on the lua_fix branch and it turned up an issue:
This pull request was done before getting deep into firmware updates and I would do it differently now so I might just kill this one and start over.
@ccritix is also interested in this firmware update so I re-ran the Stubs API test from the lua_fix branch on both 2.0.3 and 2.0.2 and came up with the same issue on both firmware versions. This means that whatever is causing this isn’t due to the 2.0.3 firmware update.
