Cannot use acme.sh (missing socat-tools)

I have tried creating certs via the instructions on Let’s Encrypt in the wiki but acme.sh is now reliant on socat-tools which is not in the IBMi Open Source package repo. The guide is found here https://bitbucket.org/snippets/litmis/Gq6b5
