Issue #155 resolved
Bryan Gangwere created an issue

My i is firewalled off from the internet, so I’m specifying SSH tunneling when I connect the Open Source Package Manager. I’m able to see the installed packages, but when I open the Updates Available or Available Packages tab, I get the error in the title. In Proxy Information is says “Got request: : CONNECT public.dhe.ibm.com:443 HTTP/1.1 Done handling request: CONNECT public.dhe.ibm.com:443 HTTP/1.1” My ibm.repo file contains the following, and I’m able to connect to the web page from my PC. I’m running ACS 1.1.8.6.

[ibm]
name=ibm
baseurl=https://public.dhe.ibm.com/software/ibmi/products/pase/rpms/repo
enabled=1
gpgcheck=0

    Is this still an issue or has it been resolved? If you are using the ACS proxy facility, please open an issue with IBM support.

    This is likely an issue with your PC’s firewall settings. You might be running ACS under javaw.exe (which we wouldn’t expect to work) or acslaunch_win64.exe, which is likely blocked by your security settings. 😞
    Closing this issue with a recommendation to pursue with IBM support, but feel free to reopen at our new issue tracker at http://github.com/IBM/ibmi-oss-issues if you’d like continued community assistance.
