Error: rpmdb open failed on IBM i V7R4M0 latest lab driver and weekly CUM package

I have an IBM i partition with the latest V7R4M0 lab driver and latest weekly CUM package installed.
When I try to launch the Open Source Package Management tool in ACS, it fails to connect to my system with this error: “Error: rpmdb open failed”

Also of note, I was on ACS version 1.8.0.0 when I first hit this. I updated to the latest 1.1.8.2 version to see if that would fix it (no luck).

Also tried the END/STR the SSHD TCP server to no avail.

I have attached the service logs.

The workaround provided (/QOpenSys/pkgs/bin/rpm --rebuilddb) on the troubleshooting page (https://bitbucket.org/ibmi/opensource/src/master/docs/troubleshooting/) fixed the problem.
