.git repo on IBM i SSH and HTTPs

I have a bare .git repo setup on IBM i in PASE and working fine with ssh, however, I would also like to access it via HTTPS, I have been trying some of the GitHub setup docs and make them fit IBM i Apache but keep running into issues. Just curious if there are any docs ect. that might help or has someone actually done this?

I don’t know that anyone has ever done this, but my intuition tells me that you would have better luck with nginx. Here is avguide for Ubuntu that could be retrofitted, I suspect
