Server secured Down and can't contact IBM to download available packages need to install the CURL command.. I have downloaded the ACS Open source packages but the CURL command is not in the Base Available Packages. Is there a way I can download the CURL command so I can download it and make it showing in the Available packages in ACS and be installed so I can use it ?

Hi Jesse G, Thanks for getting back to me and the information that you provided.

What do I need to download and where do I copy the repo from and to where in the Specify the location ? as tried copy it to C:\Temp as a specify location but that did not work. Should it be a IFS location ? Really not sure ?

For the source repository field, it is most common to leave this as the default. The destination, as you can see, is the IFS on IBM i.

What this tool does is make a clone of the Internet-based repo into IFS so that an Internet access is not required from IBM i.

Jesse G The issue is I can’t access via HTTPS:// either as we have strict Firewall access where I am located. This is why I would need to download the repo Manually

I can get to it via a web page but not via ACS clone of the repository tool. As I PC/Laptops are secured down.

Nikita, sorry for the slow reply. The easy answer would be for you to ask your security team to allow access for the ACS binaries. It seems like your browsers are allowed outbound https but ACS is not.

There are plenty of ways to make copies of the repository, but they would all require your PC to have ftp/http/https access outside of the browser (tools like lftp or even something like filezilla could work). ACS would be easiest.
