Offline repository and yum
Issue #8
resolved
Hello, is it possible to have an offline repository in the IFS and use yum to install packages? Yum --localinstall some.rpm can install the package but if it needs dependent libraries it wants always to go out the the remote repository and then it fails because my IBM i does not have internet access.
I already modified as mentioned in section "Offline Install Instructions (without ACS)" but I must use always yum --localinstall first for all the dependencies and at last for the package itself...
Yum --install does not work at all.

I am trying to do the same thing, I have cloned the IBM repo to the IFS like the instructions say, but when i go to do install i get --installroot must be an absolute path.
