Option to move date and time separately of each other

I would like it so that the date and time blocks can be constructed independently of each other. Currently, the date and time blocks are always together and cannot be moved independently so that, for example, the time could be put on the left side of the status bar while the date could be put on the right side of the status bar (see the attached image).
