Attempting to close viewer in Safari results in loading mask

Issue #5 invalid
Charlie Moore created an issue

Once you’re in the viewer on recent versions of the plugin, there doesn’t seem to be a way to close the viewer other than just using the browser’s back feature [unless I’m just not seeing it for some reason]. When using Safari, if you close the viewer this way, you get the loading icon and a mask over the page, making it unusable until you refresh the page

Hmm, this happened 100% of the time yesterday, but I can't recreate it at all today. I'm going to close it for now

This is happening on my system again locally, but I can’t give you instructions on how to reliably recreate it, so I suppose it makes sense to leave the ticket in this state.
