DARKSOULS.exe - Entry Point Not Found (dialog popup)

Issue #9 closed

First of all thanks for working on this!

I've run into an issue where I get a pop window roughly 10-15 times in a row, that I can click through, when I start the game or anytime I go to the menu screen. The game will otherwise function normally and I see the watchdog overlay in the top left corner. However, it always sits at 0 nodes, even though I'm seeing a lot of messages...I can't say for sure as I've had no invasions thus far, but I believe that I've connected to at least some nodes.

You can see the error dialog I'm getting here: http://drop.bryangilbert.com/vgC1

I already had the most recent version of DSFix installed and I have not changed any defaults for pvp watchdog, I've only downloaded the most recent zip file in the downloads section and copied the contents to the data directory. I'm running Windows 8.1 with a GTX 560ti graphics card.

Thanks!

Sadly, this has nothing to do with DSPW; there's a video (de)coder injecting itself between your game and d3d9.dll as you can see from a brief Google search for "ActiveMovie Window popup". I suggest you checked your video and audio filters and acted accordingly to set their priority lower / uninstall them in favor of LAVfilters / blacklist DarkSouls.exe from using them.

Thanks for the update and quick response! I tried figuring out how to update my audio/video filters for a bit with no luck.

However, I just updated to the latest version of the nVidia drivers and the problem magically disappeared!
