--exec with or without --nographics doesn't exit

Run:

calico --exec filename calico --exec --nographics filename

Neither exits. May be related to threads BackgroundThread = true

Did some refinements in 9f3f3de, should be fixed. Changed the default to be "graphics not enabled"; use --graphics to enable.
