License not saving

Issue #112 resolved
Tim Garay created an issue

My company recently purchased a license for PowerShell Pro Tools for me. I added the license to the Visual Studio 2017 Community installed on my laptop and it worked fine. I also use a jump server (Windows 2016) with Visual Studio 2017 Community installed. I paste the license into that "About PowerShell Pro Tools" and it shows the correct information but when I click ok and then open again, it still says trial expired.

Have placed security tools in "observe mode" in case that was preventing it.

One time I got a pop-up stating "Setting the license failed. Invalid license specified."

I have also verified Internet access from that server currently. Updated both Visual Studio 2017 Community and PowerShell Pro Tools to latest available.

    Hi Tim,

Sorry for the hassle. Can you try to clear out all the license info and try it again?

Delete this in the registry: HKCU:\Software\PowerShellProTools Delete this folder: %appdata%\PowerShell Pro Tools

Then restart VS and attempt to reinstall the license.
