Issue #44 resolved
Former user created an issue

I am unable to uninstall or License Powershell Pro Tools. I go to Help and About before I was receiving an error. Now there is nothing.

Can you let me know what the error is you are seeing while trying to uninstall? I think the reason you can't license is because it is partially installed.

I used the Powershell Pro Tools trial version. It all worked fine. Now I have purchased a full license, but I can't activate it. There is no error message. After I have entered the new license and confirmed the window with "OK", it will not be accepted. The window still shows Trial expired 20.12.2018 I have already uninstalled Powershell Pro tool and visual studio. Visual Studio was also run as administrator. Pro Tools: 4.1.5 Visual Studio 2017 Community: 15.9.5 Is there a way to manually reset the license?

Hmm. I thought this was resolved in the latest version. You can clear out the trial license by deleting these items:

Delete this key in the registry (if it exists): HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PowerShellProTools\License Delete this file (if it exists): %appdata%\PowerShell Pro Tools\license.lic

    Then reinstall the full license.
